NIB only taken out of box to photograph. Based on the popular M. I Hummel "Goose Girl" porcelain figurine, the porcelain "Goose Girl" doll was produced exclusively for the Danbury Mint in 1989 by the masterful artisans of W. Goebel Porzellanbabrik of Bavaria Germany. The doll's head, arms and lower legs are crafted from the same fine hand painted porcelain which was used to create the legendary Hummel figurines. Her dress, bloomers, socks, and leather slipper shoes are hand tailored garments. She has wonderfully detailed facial features and hair. Under a charming dotted cloth hanker chief, her hair is Braided into two pigtails and tied at the end with porcelain orange bows. Tousled sprigs of hair peek out under her scarf above her forehead as she leans forward to address her porcelain pet Goose. She holds a bouquet of artificial flowers behind her back away from her hungry goose. This exquisite doll and her goose is in excellent vintage condition and come with the original box. There are no chips, repairs, damage or crazing to these beautiful pieces. It has always been in a smoke free conditioned environment. I am not expert or collector. I sell the item AS IS.
