My father had this custom cue made in 1976. It is straight and true, the Walnut on the lower piece is painted a rich blue with a domino dot pattern inset into mother of pearl. It has brass fittings and more mother of pearl along the shaft. While the lower shaft piece has a reptile type finish on the bottom, the upper shaft has a few knicks in the paint. This is a nice rod, comes with a hard carrying case and has free professional shipping.
